Dear guests, dear interested parties,

according to the latest decision, hotels and restaurants must remain closed until April 18, 2021. Any celebration is prohibited.

Land Gut Höhne is still open for:

  • Business travelers whose trip serves a business interest.
  • Private travelers whose reason for travel is to be classified as very important, but in no way touristic, such as: medically necessary trips, funerals / memorial services, burst water pipes, risk of homelessness, tending to graves, sick stays.

These “allowed” guests can take advantage of the following offers in compliance with the applicable measures from our hygiene concept:

  • Overnight stay in our comfortable rooms, such as Wellness suite with private spa or Gutshof room with round bathtub and for example bio sauna.
  • Breakfast is included.
  • There is a reduced range of meals for lunch or dinner.

The stated reason for the trip is documented on the registration form.

Land Gut Höhne is still open for day visitors in compliance with distance and regulations for the following purpose:

  • Information talks about the offer from Land Gut Höhne
  • House tours
  • Concrete sales discussions e.g. Conference or party planning

Restaurant visits and private celebrations with a sociable claim are not possible. The Neandertal Therme currently has to remain closed.

With a friendly smile behind our mouth and nose cover, we warmly welcome you here or wish you the best possible time at home,

your Land Gut Höhne-team.

Our hygiene concept

Our sophisticated hygiene concept is always implemented under hygienic and organizational aspects in coordination with the Mettmann Health Department. Regulations are constantly being supplemented and changed. The new guideline will then take the place of the old one. Current information from the state government can be found here:

How does Land Gut Höhne implement virus protection?

  • The current legal requirements due to the corona pandemic are conscientiously implemented in every area at Land Gut Höhne. All employees have been trained and are also required to ensure that our guests adhere to the distance, hygiene and behavioral measures. In order to protect everyone, house rights are exercised in the event of willful infringement.
  • The information and details described on the homepage are partly from normal times before Corona. We translate this information into practice for all areas in compliance with the currently required specifications such as distance regulations, hygiene and behavioral regulations. Since the specifications are based on the development of the numbers about the spread of the virus, they can change daily.
  • We are available at any time by telephone or by appointment for inquiries and planning discussions for the time, when the Corona restrictions will be relaxed again in the future.

Frequently asked Questions:

Do I have to submit a test if I arrive from a risk area within Germany?

No, you don’t need a test. Vacationers who want to travel to NRW from risk areas within Germany do not need a test for an overnight stay. An accommodation ban for private guests, as it currently applies in other federal states, is not applied in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Does every guest have to provide contact details and times of stay?

Yes. According to the contact data collection of the Ordinance for the Prevention of Communicable Diseases of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, as of September 29, 2020, we are obliged to document our guests for the traceability of any contact persons and chains of infection. For this purpose, every guest is encouraged to truthfully enter their contact details in the list upon arrival, when using the Neandertal Therme and the outdoor pool. An official ID is used as data comparison.

The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter c GDPR in conjunction with like the general decree in conjunction with Section 28 (1) IfSG. If necessary, your data will be passed on to the responsible health department.

In addition to entering the contact details, the guests affirm in writing that they do not suffer from symptoms typical of Covid-19 (including fever, cough, shortness of breath, taste and smell disorders) and that they are not quarantined. If necessary, a non-contact fever measuring device can be used.

Do guests have to wear a mouth and nose cover?

The distance regulation of 1.5 meters and a mouth and nose cover obligation apply to guests (and employees). When eating, the table positions ensure that the minimum distance is maintained; the protection can be removed here. Every guest who gets up from the table is required to put on their mouth and nose cover again.

Are there disinfectant dispensers?

Disinfectant dispensers are available at the entrances to the restaurants, which guests can use to disinfect their hands on arrival. Or guests wash their hands on arrival. At reception we offer hygiene kits with a face mask, disinfectant spray and disposable gloves for sale.

How is the minimum distance at the tables ensured?

The majority of the tables have been separated so that all tables have the necessary spacing from one another. Only guests who live in no more than two households are seated per table. This does not apply to company guests who come together for professional reasons and first-degree relatives.

Can we hold a conference at your place?

Yes, it is also true here that it is possible under certain conditions. Here, too, the details are crucial. Therefore we ask for an individual discussion with our event team. We look forward to your call.

How does Land Gut Höhne avoid group formation at so-called peak times?

For day guests, we regulate the number by calling in advance. The opening times of the restaurants are extended. In the evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., in the morning from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and on the weekend from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Fixed times for dinner are also agreed with our overnight guests, at which they are taken to the table. We urge you not to change tables yourself.

How are the check-in / check-out arranged?

The check-in times can currently be handled more flexibly. For the check-out we ask you to use the 24-hour opening time of the reception and thus to avoid possible peak times shortly before the check-out time.

The room cards, data carriers, other operating resources are cleaned before they are given to the guest or when they are returned.

How about cleaning the rooms?

Rooms are kept empty for a period of time if possible before they are rented out. Thea are cleaned according to all hygiene requirements.

Guests who stay longer than one night in the house are asked to inform us about the frequency with which they are cleaned.

How about cleaning the toilets and public areas?

In addition to the regular toilet checks, the cleaning and disinfection of touch-intensive surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, taps, soap dispensers, toilets, flush buttons, smooth surfaces, elevators (especially the pushbuttons) etc. are subject to a special cleaning treatment.

Is the Neandertal Therme open?

Our Neandertal Therme with fitness studio, saunas and pool) must remain closed in December 2020. Alternatively, wellness suites with bio saunas or rooms with large round bathtubs can be booked.

Who is excluded from the offer?

Trips that are made for tourist purposes are generally prohibited for November 2020. Only business travelers are allowed to be accommodated for this time.

According to the ordinance, accommodation for tourist purposes in hotels and similar accommodation establishments is prohibited for people who are not resident in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We reserve the right to refuse guests arriving from risk areas (according to the Foreign Office) if they cannot present a negative Covid-19 test that is not older than 48 hours prior to arrival.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to you.
