Welcome, connoisseurs of good food. In all culinary locations at Land Gut Höhne, we work from morning until night to prepare the very best ingredients. We set ourselves high standards: freshly-prepared ingredients, wherever possible with a connection to the region and at least 90 percent from organically grown certified farms with high animal welfare standards. Dry-aged Galloway beef from the Neanderland region; vegetables and herbs from the fields of the Ischebek organic farm in Mettmann; eggs, potatoes and dairy products from Bredtmann Naturland farm in Velbert – just a few examples of the transparent origins of our ingredients. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, every guest has the chance to watch the chefs live as they prepare the dishes. Even the Japanese sushi chef creates his delicacies before the guests’ very eyes.

Authentic dining and indulgence in Land Gut Höhne style
In the largest room of the Gutshof restaurant, guests can look over the shoulders of culinary artists at the daily live cooking buffets. Parts of dishes are prepared here in front of guests à la minute. The chefs work in parallel with the chefs in the kitchen, supporting them as they create fresh dishes for the buffet selection.
The guest can sit at tables, long tables, individual tables, in the niches or in exclusively rented event areas. In the sun also on the terraces.
This is the origin of Land Gut Höhne. At the heart of the Gutshof restaurant is the former farmhouse of Gut Höhnen, first recorded in 1750. These origins can still be seen in the sturdy wooden tables arranged in half-timbered rooms full of nooks, crannies and authentic fireplaces.
Every Sunday between 12 noon and 2:30 pm, the Land Gut brunch at Land Gut Höhne brings together lunch for early birds and breakfast for late risers.
The popular live cooking buffet almost takes place in the atmospheric Gutshof-Restaurant. As known from these there are soups, starters, vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, side dishes, desserts and cheese offered.
Especially on Sundays, we also add delicious scrambled eggs, cold cuts, selfmade jams and other breakfast elements, in the outstanding organic quality our guests regularly expect from us.
Even more special touches are added to the Land Gut brunch on public holidays: come, see, taste and enjoy for yourself. Prices from 37 to 45 euros. Details about the price when reserving a table.
Due to the high demand, we ask you to register and reserve a table in advance. Many thanks: +49 (0)2104-778-0
You can enjoy top-class sushi in the restaurants at Land Gut Höhne, in addition to the usual buffets as a delight for the eyes and the palate.
Sake don, sashimi, soups, salads and other Japanese delicacies are all freshly prepared. (Waiting times within a certain framework are therefore natural.)
The expert Japanese chef creates the dishes live before the eyes of his guests in the Gutshof restaurant. The high quality and freshness of our ingredients have even found enthusiastic fans in Düsseldorf’s Japantown.

So tender. So mild. So unique. This offer from the Dry-Ager is the ideal choice for those looking for a truly special taste experience.
We give the meat time. Only once it has matured for the ideal time is the meat of the Galloway bull, reared in the Neanderland region under high animal welfare standards, ready to enjoy. The natural dry ageing process with wild herbs gives it a truly unique texture and taste.
In the natural dry ripening process with wild herbs, it achieves its uniqueness in consistency and taste. The culinary team at Land Gut Höhne prepares the meat for the guests at regular intervals, which naturally cannot be planned precisely in advance.
We only serve this popular dish on request. Please call us to reserve a table – some fans of high-quality meat travel for miles to experience such a treat.
