We set ourselves high standards: freshly-prepared ingredients, wherever possible with a connection to the region and from organic farms or those with high animal welfare standards. Dry-aged Galloway beef from the Neanderland region; vegetables and herbs from the fields of the Ischebek organic farm in Mettmann; eggs, potatoes and dairy products from Bredtmann Naturland farm in Velbert – just a few examples of the transparent origins of our ingredients. Authentic dining and indulgence in Land Gut Höhne style
In the largest room of the Gutshof restaurant, guests can look over the shoulders of culinary artists at the daily live cooking buffets. Parts of dishes are prepared here in front of guests à la minute. The chefs work in parallel with the chefs in the kitchen, supporting them as they create fresh dishes for the buffet selection.
The guest can sit at tables, long tables, individual tables, in the niches or in exclusively rented event areas. In the sun also on the terraces.
This is the origin of Land Gut Höhne. At the heart of the Gutshof restaurant is the former farmhouse of Gut Höhnen, first recorded in 1750. These origins can still be seen in the sturdy wooden tables arranged in half-timbered rooms full of nooks, crannies and authentic fireplaces.
Every Sunday between 12 noon and 2:30 pm, the Land Gut brunch at Land Gut Höhne brings together lunch for early birds and breakfast for late risers.
The popular live cooking buffet is there as usual, offering soups, starters, vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, side dishes, desserts and cheese. On Sundays, we also add scrambled eggs, cold cuts, jams and other breakfast elements, in the outstanding quality you expect from us.

We give the meat time. Only once it has matured for the ideal time is the meat of the Galloway bull, reared in the Neanderland region under high animal welfare standards, ready to enjoy. The natural dry ageing process with wild herbs gives it a truly unique texture and taste.
