Finnish log cabin outdoor sauna

This Finnish sauna was handcrafted from Bavarian spruce by the carpenters of Land Gut Höhne. Integrated into the natural surroundings, it appears to float above the small pond. Inside, experienced sauna-goers can relax and enjoy the dry heat of the room, which can reach up to 90 degrees Celsius, by draping their towels on the appropriate step of one of the solid wooden benches. Small windows let in daylight, and in the evening, the embers of the lit wood-burning stove create light, warmth, and a rustic atmosphere.
