Opening hours Neandertal Therme

open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Original wellness in the Neandertal Therme means relaxation and movement in a sense-stimulating world of experiences.

The Neandertal Therme offers:
• Pool and hot water pool
• Finnish sauna and salt steam sauna, as well as 2 (soon to be 3) organic log-house cabins with organic saunas (herbal or salt inhalation) in the outdoor area
• Fitness studio with Space-Curl
• Rooms of the senses (Räume der Sinne)
• Water-pressure massage bed
• Relaxation loungers

Water-pressure massage bed

This massage bed works using the power of the pure element of water. Wearing light clothing, you lie down on a fabric pad mat upon a warm natural caoutchouc bed. Underneath, two jets move a stream of water that targets the back of the body or individual areas. The bright room with its pleasant atmosphere enhances the relaxing effect. Available whenever you want, no appointment necessary.

15 min. 15 € (cards available at reception)

Sports and fitness

In the air-conditioned fitness studio at our Neandertal Therme, hotel guests have access to a wide range of strength and endurance equipment for training all muscle groups from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Swimming in the pool under the glass roof is beneficial as well, both as a sporting and relaxing activity.

Outdoor sports

Let’s do something good for ourselves. Movement in nature is a part of that. Burning off energy in a playful way by playing tennis or beach volleyball, indulging in weightlessness while swimming, hiking, horse riding at the neighbours’ or playing golf – and everything is good.

  • Tennis on clay courts in the park, during season
  • Pickleball or tennis on the multi-court, all year round, floodlit possible
  • Beach volleyball in the park
  • Table tennis outdoors and indoors
  • Swimming in the naturally heated outdoor pool
  • Hiking, walking, power walking, jogging on the neanderlandSTEIG trail
  • Horse riding at the neighbouring riding stables
  • Golf inthe surrounding area with special rates, see below

A dip in the outdoor pool

From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., hotel guests can use the outdoor pool and the accompanying seating and lounging areas. Between May and September, the water is lightly heated. During the other months, the growing number of cold-water swimmers use the naturally tempered outdoor pool for a refreshing start to the day.

RECHARGING BATTERIES

People, cars and bicycles can recharge their batteries at Land Gut Höhne. Even at the same time. While electric cars and e-bikes can recharge with green electricity under a roof or in the bicycle garage upon the upper car park, guests are provided with new energy from organic buffets, live cooking, traditional wellness, building biology and a natural atmosphere.

Those arriving by (e-)bike can explore the nature and culture of the surrounding area with the help of practical apps. A locked garage for bicycles and e-bikes is available for secure storage. The adjacent neanderlandSTEIG trail also invites you to take long walks through fields, woods and meadows, a particularly natural way to recharge your batteries.
