Our organic vitality breakfast buffet is served in the Spinnstube from 7 to 11 am on weekdays, and from 7:30 to 11 am at weekends and on public holidays.
The selection is organic, varied and wholesome, featuring wholegrain products, including a live egg-cooking station, house-smoked salmon, freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, hot beverages, (non-alcoholic) sparkling wine, homemade spreads, seeds, spices, fruit mueslis, preserves and vegan porridge.
Each day between 1 and 5:30 pm the Natural bites are available in the Spinnstube or foyer as a nourishing, light and natural treat in a buffet-form:
Vegetarian, vegan, savoury and sweet options are offered, including homemade cakes, wholegrain bread, salads, soup of the day, waffles to prepare Yourself, as well as self-service coffee and tea specialities.
A seasonal organic buffet for self-service is presented daily from 6 pm to 9:30 pm in our Gutshof Restaurant.
The buffet is complemented by live cooking islands featuring meat, fish, pasta dishes and sushi.
The selection includes:
- freshly prepared meat and fish dishes cooked à la minute
- vegan and vegetarian options
- raw and warm dishes
- Japanese sushi specialities
- a homemade pasta island
- a variety of homemade desserts, ice cream and sorbets from our pâtisserie
The in-house Neandertal Therme is open daily from 6:30 am to 10 pm.Neandertal Therme is the name of the wellness area at Land Gut Höhne which can be reached comfortably, even in a bathrobe via footpaths, lifts and stairs.
Use of the original wellness facilities in the Neandertal Therme is included throughout the entire stay and offers:
- changing rooms, lockers and indoor showers
- a variety of indoor and outdoor saunas
- outdoor showers, a cold plunge pool and Kneipp basin
- a pool beneath a glass roof
- a warm pool within a rock landscape
- fitness studio
- relaxation areas
- rooms of the senses
- drinking water station
A personal wellness bag with bathrobe and sauna towels is provided in your room for the duration of Your stay. Basic slippers are available for purchase at reception.
Participation in the daily small-group programme (morning and/or afternoon) is included:

- Qi Gong and yoga
- aqua fitness and pilates
- creative course or
- forest walks and foot-feeling (weather dependant)

The range of saunas includes three outdoor saunas, as well as the Finnish sauna and the steam grotto inside the Neandertal Therme. Here you will also find the pool under a glass roof, the hot water pools set into the rock face, the gym, and the shower and relaxation areas. Near the outdoor saunas, the outdoor area features a Kneipp foot bath, an ice tub, hot water foot baths and outdoor showers, providing relaxing warmth and cooling stimulation.

From 7 am (7.30 am at weekends), we serve wholemeal bread, homemade fruit spreads, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, home-smoked salmon, cheese and eggs – served as scrambled or fried eggs – all freshly prepared.

Every day between 1 pm and 5.30 pm, the organic buffet in the Spinnstube serves up a selection of light, natural bites. Whether it’s a homemade vegan waffle, a salad from the fresh buffet, the soup of the day or homemade cake, there’s something for everyone here.
At the organic buffets with live cooking islands in the Gutshof Restaurant, you can watch the chefs at work as they prepare the food. You can also see the sushi-creations being made first-hand.

As true to nature and detail as our description and pictures of the rooms are supposed to be, you may still have questions about them. In the frequently asked questions listed below you will surely find your question answered.
You can cancel free of charge up to 8 days before arrival if you book a package.
Check-in is at 3pm. Rooms are generally ready to move into then. Cleaning begins at 11am on the day of departure. Earlier check-ins or later check-outs are charged at €75.
No, not anymore. We love dogs too. However, after decades of allowing them, we have recently decided to no longer permit dogs or other pets in the rooms. On average, the behaviour of ‘dog and owner’ or ‘pet and owner’ has changed drastically, to the extent that the cleaning effort has become disproportionate and unreasonable for our team. We have now had to draw the line. However, upon request, day guests with a dog may occasionally be allocated specific areas of the restaurant, foyer or Spinnstube.
Yes, various rooms or suites are suitable for families or friends travelling together: 4-bed suites as well as accommodation consisting of two en-suite double rooms with a common main door in front.
A wellness bag with a robe and sauna towel is provided in your booked room for each guest. Simple, sustainable flip-flops are available from Reception for €3.50. Birkenstock shoes can be purchased in our shop.
