Solar Butterfly auf nachhaltiger Reise um die Welt

Only the sun drives everything. The car that pulls him across the continents and all the functions of the small house on wheels are powered by solar energy. Four people can live in it, work – and travel. The Solar Butterfly team is on a mission to connect with scientists, researchers and pioneers around the world who are developing solutions to global warming. As a result of the three-year trip around the world, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the UN climate agreement in Paris on December 12, 2025, they want to present a thousand brilliant ideas, projects and companies working on solutions to climate change first-hand.

The Bio Hotel Land Gut Höhne is pleased to be able to support the idea and the committed and friendly travel team with original hospitality. During their stay in the area, they have sustainable opportunities to recharge the batteries in the form of accommodation, organic food and original wellness. After that, the team in the Solar Butterfly is driven on by the sun’s energy through Holland to Great Britain. From there they all cross to eastern Canada by cargo ship and continue to the USA, Mexico and Central America. This journey will end in Panama City in December 2025.
