Working on the power grid
For work on the power grid, Land Gut Höhne will be closed to guests on Sunday, January 28th, from 11 a.m. until Monday, January 29th. Because no electricity means no light, no heating, no water, no electrical devices … An emergency generator ensures that the most important processes for the planned work and special staffing in the office can take place. However, Land Gut Höhne is not lifeless: before the power is switched off, a guest-free employee party takes place and on the day itself, those present and residents come back to the original: fireplace, candlelight, stew cooked on an open fire, handmade music – all without cell phones and laptops. On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, we will be back for everyone around the clock and with electricity as usual.
